Here is a theme with a lot of functionality.

First of all there is the javaticker in the header. It gets its info from the local RSS feed (backend.php), but if you install xBackends.php from this site you will get a little more information like Atom and RSS 0.91 feeds as well. The feed from the article is pointing to articles under the same topic.Second is the xBackends Xanthia plugin as I already described, and third is a xFPDF plugin that shows a PDF icon if the xFPDF module is available.

In the top you will fin a colorchanger – marked with a box from each color of the theme.
